Lagos in Fifteen

My creative aim was to encapsulate the essence of Lagos, in fifteen seconds. A city that pulsates with life, energy, and diversity. I aimed to authentically depict the hustle and bustle, the rhythm of daily existence, and the heart of the Lagosian transport system.
The objective of this project was to create a visual and emotional masterpiece that represents the very soul of Lagos. I wanted to instill a sense of identity and unity among Lagosians, while also allowing outsiders to grasp the city's vibrant spirit.
Concept and Vision:

Speed of Commute: Lagos' transport system is a character in itself. The gridlock traffic, the colorful buses, the chaotic yet functional system; I made use of 3D models to portray these elements through imagery and storytelling.

Cultural Heritage: Lagos has a rich cultural heritage, and the Eyo masquerade is a symbol of its traditions. I showcased the masquerade in a way that pays homage to its significance, emphasizing its role in the city's identity.

Inclusivity: Lagos is not just one area; it's a collection of unique Local Government Areas. Highlighting their distinctiveness and showing how they come together to form the tapestry of Lagos.
The project, "Lagos in Fifteen," is a tribute to the heart and soul of this incredible city. I tried to capture the essence of Lagos in a way that stirs emotions, fosters unity, and celebrates its unique character. Through this project, I hope to inspire not only Lagosians but the world at large with the spirit of Lagos.
